President & CEO, National Lutheran Communities and Services
Larry Bradshaw joined National Lutheran Communities & Services (NLCS) in October of 2009 as President & CEO. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the not-for-profit senior living industry. From 1987-2006, he was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President for Strategic Growth with Asbury Communities, a not-for-profit, multi-site, senior living organization. In 2006, Larry took on the role of President for Asbury’s for-profit company, The Asbury Group, offering consulting services to other Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs). Larry was also the principal of Bradshaw Insights Group, providing consulting services to CCRCs in everything from strategic planning and board development to financial analysis and capital structure development.
As the President & CEO at NLCS, Larry’s focus is strategically growing and furthering the organization’s 126-year mission and ministry of providing lifestyle, residential and health care options for seniors. He leads a team of dedicated professionals whose collective goal is to meet the ever-changing needs of seniors, while providing excellent care and innovative services that preserve seniors’ independence and dignity. Under his leadership, NLCS has become a multi-site organization offering a wide range of services including home health care and community clinics.
Larry is an active member of LeadingAge and LeadingAge Maryland, has served as a CCAC (now CARF) Commissioner, and as Chair of CCAC’s Financial Advisory Panel. He is a frequent presenter at numerous national meetings, including LeadingAge, the National Investment Conference, and Ziegler’s Senior Living CFO Workshop.
Larry has a B.S. degree in Accounting from Emporia State University and a M.B.A. in Technology Management from The University of Phoenix.

Interim Executive Director/ConnectedLiving Director
With over 25 years of experience in finding creative and meaningful ways to challenge individuals to find purpose and meaning in life, Stacey Iden joined The Village at Orchard Ridge in January of 2013 as the Life Enrichment Manager. Prior to serving in this position, Stacey’s professional work has included teaching, ministry, volunteer management, administration, event planning and nonprofit leadership. She has served as a consultant to nonprofit organizations, developing volunteer initiatives, training leaders, providing board development, establishing structures to build capacity and sustainability, and designing and implementing large-scale events.
Stacey Iden has been a part of the Winchester/Frederick County community all of her life. She received a B.S. in Education from James Madison University, holds a Graduate Certificate in Family Ministry and is a Certified Volunteer Administrator by the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration.
Stacey takes an ‘out-of-the-box’ approach to program development and creatively uses resources to design activities and events that create a culture of growth and potential for everyone.

Associate Administrator
Melissa Sellers joined The Village at Orchard Ridge in October of 2019 as the Associate Administrator.
Prior to joining The Village at Orchard Ridge, Melissa served nine years in the West Virginia Army National Guard with the 157th Military Police Company and then accepted a promotion to sergeant serving with the 154th Military Police Company. Melissa brings seven years of experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment where she served in various capacities.
Melissa is a person-centered healthcare professional with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Healthcare Administration from Shepherd University. She is currently in pursuit of her Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Healthcare Management from Liberty University. She holds her Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) Licensure in the states of Virginia and West Virginia. Working in healthcare, she understands the importance of continuous growth and knowledge.
Melissa is driven by a passion for serving others through work and in the community. She eagerly seeks opportunities to use her life experiences to transform them into actionable ways to impact the lives of those around her.

Chaplain
Rev. Dr. William W. Boldin, BCC, joined The Village at Orchard Ridge in July of 2013 as the Lead Chaplain.
Rev. Boldin brings over 25 years of pastoral experience to Orchard Ridge. Most recently, he served as Director of Pastoral Care/Patient Representative at the Retreat Doctor’s Hospital in Richmond for nine years. Prior to serving in Richmond, Rev. Boldin served as Chaplain-Resident at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News and PRN Chaplain at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Va.
Recognized by the Association of Professional Chaplains as a Board Certified Chaplain, Rev. Boldin received his Doctor of Ministry (D.Min) from Union Presbyterian Seminary in Richmond and his Master of Divinity (M.Div.) from Lutheran Theological Seminary in Gettysburg, Pa. Rev. Boldin also holds a B.A. from Roanoke College in Salem, Va.
A resident of Winchester, Va., Rev. Boldin has been married to his wife Brenda for 31 years. They have one son who resides and attends college in Richmond. Rev. Boldin is also an active Member of Grace Lutheran Church in Winchester.
Rev. Boldin’s shares his approach to chaplaincy: “Being a chaplain is a holy privilege. I am often welcomed into persons lives when they are in the midst of difficult experiences and most vulnerable. My main purpose in chaplaincy during those times is to provide a presence that is accompanying them through the ordeal. At The Village at Orchard Ridge, I also have the wonderful privilege to lead this community in worship. I am truly fed by being a member of the Orchard Ridge community and it is a privilege to be called as chaplain to such wonderful people!”

Director of Nursing
Minerva Dougan joined The Village at Orchard Ridge in May of 2015 as a nurse at Orchard Woods Health Center. Since joining The Village at Orchard Ridge, Minerva has also held the position of assisted living program manager and currently serves as the director of nursing. In her current role, Minerva’s responsibilities include ensuring optimal quality of care is delivered to each resident.
Prior to joining The Village at Orchard Ridge, Minerva worked at various healthcare facilities. She has held multiple managerial roles and brings with her seven years of professional experience in acute care, long term care, assisted living, and home health care. In addition to her experience, Minerva traveled through New England with Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation as a mock surveyor assisting communities in evaluating federal and state compliance regulations.
Minerva holds a B.S. in Nursing and is currently pursuing her master’s degree. She recognizes the importance of being a team player and leads by example and support her team. She enjoys a holistic approach to nursing and looks forward to bringing a resident-centered care approach to Orchard Woods Health Center, which emphasizes and encourages resident independence.

Sales Director
Rebecca Lipscomb joined The Village at Orchard Ridge as Sales Director in May 2018. Rebecca's experience prior to joining Orchard Ridge includes over 20 years of specialized sales, marketing, public relations and interior design experience working with individual clients, senior living organizations and continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) in the northern Shenandoah Valley. With a B.A. in broadcast communications and a certificate in gerontology, Becky is a passionate and outspoken advocate for resident-focused care that supports the aspirations, well-being and lifestyle goals of older adults throughout all phases of the aging process.
Rebecca moved to Winchester in 2004 and is no stranger to The Village at Orchard Ridge. She was a featured speaker on right-sizing at community outreach events during the earliest phases of Orchard Ridge’s sales and construction. Rebecca has also spoken at LeadingAge Virginia on the importance of branding, repositioning and strategic interior design to help communities keep pace with aging consumers’ aspirations for choice, independence and quality of life.
Rebecca’s senior living sales and design experience also includes direct sales and consultation with individual clients in the greater Winchester area and beyond, assisting with planning for and executing their transition from a private residence to a community setting. She was the co-founder of an interior design firm that completed significant projects in accordance with culture change, Green House and other thought-leadership initiatives to enhance the quality of life, choice and independence of senior living residents across the continuum of care. To this end, Rebecca’s firm completed more than 20 transformative interior design initiatives at regional CCRCs throughout the northern Shenandoah Valley and at numerous Veterans Administration community living centers across Maryland, New York and Pennsylvania.
Rebecca has a deep passion for cultivating relationships with clients and their families as well as referral partners, leveraging her ability to quickly build strong rapport in order to provide solutions to the challenges that seniors are facing.

Philanthropy Director
Brad Snowden joined The Village at Orchard Ridge as Philanthropy Director in January 2019. Snowden brings nearly 20 years of experience in estate planning as a practicing attorney and for the last 16 years has advanced the philanthropic mission of two higher education institutions. Most recently, Snowden was Director of Leadership Gifts at Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, Virginia leading the major giving effort for its $25M Invest for Impact capital campaign that raised $4.8M annual gifts and closed $26M in legacy gifts during its last fiscal year. Previously, he spent nearly 15 years supporting the mission of Shenandoah University where he was instrumental in the successful completion of its $65M Spirit of Shenandoah campaign as well as the campaign for construction of its state-of-the-art Health & Life Science Building and Shenandoah Conservatory’s All Steinway piano initiative.
Snowden is an active member of, and serves on the board of, the Tri-State Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, is a past president and former member of the Clarke County Rotary, a current member of the Sunrise Rotary Club of Martinsburg, West Virginia, a member of the National Capital Gift Planning Council, and is former Co-Chair of the Virginia Fund Raising Institute.
Brad holds a B.S. in Political Science from Shepherd College (now Shepherd University) and a Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio.
