The Village at Orchard Ridge Launches New Website With Informational Tools and Updated Community Offerings

December 1, 2015

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Village at Orchard Ridge (TVOR), A National Lutheran Community, today announced the launch of its new senior-friendly website. The site, which utilizes the community’s ‘Go’ theme, features interactive campus and area tours, fly-through virtual video and provides potential residents with tools to easily navigate and access the community’s services.

“As TVOR continues to grow and come to fruition, we wanted a website that accurately represented our community and its offerings,” states Melody Schneider, Director of Marketing at TVOR. “By incorporating our current ‘Go’ theme, we were able to playfully communicate TVOR’s story, while providing our future residents with pertinent information about the neighborhood.”

Upon visiting TVOR’s new home page, senior adults are given the option to adjust the size of the website’s text, navigate to a ‘quick’ link, send an online postcard, access the Frequently Asked Questions page or share the site from a collapsible toolbar at the bottom of the page. Additionally, visitors can explore the TVOR community or the surrounding Winchester, Va. area. Under each option, the links provide future residents with the ability to view photos, maps, area attractions, schedule a visit or request additional information.

In addition to its new look and feel, TVOR has incorporated a Cost of Living Calculator, which takes potential residents through a series of questions to determine a comparison of the cost of living in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) versus their home. TVOR has also included a page dedicated to the community’s construction progress. Within this section, future residents can find information on the latest construction news, view aerial pictures and explore the community via a fly-through virtual video. Visitors will also find updated floor plans and more detailed neighborhood information throughout the new website including an updated events calendar.

During the month of October, TVOR is hosting several luncheon events within the Winchester, Va. area. Additionally, the CCRC will have its First Annual Fall Festival on October 21, 2011 at its Sales Center, which will include an afternoon of cider, chili dogs, cornbread and a pumpkin decorating contest.
